The Underfold

Greetings literary Fold!

There’s a few people out there balking at this episode. Saying things like, “Classic Literature is classic… and literature…” or something like that. Well… it’s also mainly boring and long-winded. So, that actually includes quite a few of the episodes of The Underfold. So, where’s the public school systems representative? I want on the summer reading list.

Hemingway was the opposite of long-winded . . . Melville’s a pretty good comparison, with Brian eventually becoming every minor character’s white whale [subliminal message: Eye should get a pegleg]
At least your comic strip isn’t as wordy as For Better or For Worse. man, even the title is wordy. and then the payoff is always just some silly pun. Which I never see any of in your strip . . . Do you have something against puns?!

Dude, classic literature is also satanically long reads. . . the underfold was what? 16 panels at most originally, far from that horrid stuff the classics wrote
