my car is running significantly hotter and shakier all of a sudden, but my mechanic isn’t too worried about it, which is oddly worrying

I would have to say that is pretty sucktacular. But hey you got a new car so that is good. My car is slowly falling apart. It hasn’t been anything major unfortunately (since the drive train warranty has a few months left on it.). Enjoy your new car.
