It's not fair that the rich should have to give up more of their (hopefully) hard earned money just because they are rich,
It's REALLY not freaking fair when you jump a tax bracket and your effing paycheck is the same as your paycheck was 2 raises ago because of the higher tax bracket.
My thoughts? Do away with the freaking income tax, and just run tax through stuff we use. If you donn't use it, you don't pay taxes. Those who live lavishly will pay for it, those who live simply (be they rich or poor) won't. . . end of story. . . no tax brackets. . .
