Greetings frugal Fold!
John Williams is probably the most appropriate for an alien invasion given his track record with alien-based films.
Six Star Wars films, 3 Superman films, E.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind to name a few!
Who else could beat that?

John Tesh?
What’s he done related to the aliens?
If they’re sexy interns, I can’t blame them.
But… they could get us all killed!
is John Williams as smart as like Beethoven? or Bach? or are the most genius composers making music we’re too dumb to appreciate?
’cause I mean, with books, I’m too dumb to read the most genius important works like Infinite Jest, but then again it doesn’t take any extra brain power to just hear music, so it’s at least a little different
Well, for starters, those two composers are dead… so they’re out… 😛
And, I’m mainly looking for a composer who caters to the alien crowd. I figure with John Williams’ track record with alien movies, he’s a shoe in. Not that his music changes all that much between movies…
What about James Horner? He did Aliens, two of the Star Trek movies, Avatar, Cocoon, and Krull – just to name a few!
And this, friends is why I’m a nerd today! Nice one, Dad! 😀
Pink Floyd. Make them get back together.
