Greetings Hylian Fold!
I’ll always love Legend of Zelda. At least all the ones I played. I’ve just never played a series that is so inconsistent with their story lines. They’re all over the place! In just about every game, you start as Link, the kid, and later grow up. It’s just confusing when they start a new game, and I feel like I’m back at the beginning of the whole story. Each game is a reboot instead of a sequel…
But, we love it.
Which one is your favorite?

Best as I could ever tell, every Link is a different person, a descendant of the Hero of Time. With exception to Majoras Mask, which is the same link as OoT.
Hmm… And they just so happen to take place with the same character names each time? Interesting idea.
Its true, even Miyamoto said. There’s some document somewhere with the timeline but he hasnt released it yet. For example the new one coming out is supposedly set before OoT and is about Master Sword being made..or just after, but they are descendants.
Whoa. Crazy. I’m not sure if I like that any more than each game just being a reboot…
It bothers me that in all the timelines everyone’s name is the same. Even Gannon… (although he lost his pig face…)
Nononono. The way I see it, it’s called the “Legend of Zelda” right? So each game is the same legend just told differently. Makes sense right?
Ah man which Zelda is my favortie? That’s a tough one. I think Ocarina of time is up there pretty high for everyone, but. I was kinda surprised by Spirit Tracks. Twilight princess was good too. Oh I just can’t pick, they’re all good.
I didn’t play Spirit Tracks, and I only got part-way into Twilight Princess. My favorite is still A Link to the Past.
I li,e the ds version because my 11 year old nephew actually has to come to me to figure out where to go next.
Haha. Nice to feel useful, eh?
a link to the past is the best one. link’s awakening is pretty good too even if it isn’t part of the “normal” LoZ world.
although i hear there were some CD-i games back in the day. never played them but heard some things about them.
Link to the Past is my favorite, followed by Ocarina of Time, then Link.
Like that they were horrible and are not even accepted by nintendo
uhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm there’s no pony or flute or fairies in the DS games… seriously dude… if you want to write video game comics at least know something about the games!!
Hmm… DS was past my time playing Zelda… and he was around long before it. Where, there were flutes and ponies. So… thanks for your… “input”?
What are you trying to say? Is English your second language because none of that made any sense… I’m not even trying to be mean. That made no sense… T_T
and if you’ve never played the DS games why would you put a character from the DS games into this comic? Link is a different person in this game than the older games… he wouldn’t have had ponies or flutes and he was never an “adult” like he was in ocarina of time T_T
It’s just a joke. And, if you read previous comments, these concerns have already been addressed. So, laugh or don’t. It’s cool. I’m sorry for ruining the internet with my garbage and ill-conceived jokes. (I’m not really. This still makes me laugh.)
If I remember right, Link didn’t even wear tights until recently. His tunic/belt combo looks like a dress. Poor, poor Link…
To be fair, you can’t really tell what he’s wearing as pants in the top-down perspective.
