I’m glade they made it because without Star Trek: TMP we would have never gotten Wrath of Khan, Search for Spock, Voyage Home, Undiscovered Country, First Contact, DS9, Enterprise or Voyager. Actually, I take that last one back. We could have done without Voyager. The entire world could have done without Voyager.

I am not a Trekkie but remember V’ger from long ago when people just watched Star Trek because they liked it. Back then poeple didn’t go all Trekkie or learn to speak Klingon or anything. That was back before the world went weird
