I like teaser, trailers, and TV spots. Just ask my wife.
I like to analyze the bejeezus out of them when it is something I enjoy. I still remember downloading the HD Quicktime version of the Matrix Reloaded Super Bowl trailer. I would look at it frame by frame. What caused that explosion? Who was that? OH WOW LOOK AT THAT!!
I watched it over and over again. I was a bit obsessed, but it was fun for me. I liked trying to predict what was going to happen. 🙂
Now that you know that, you may be able to understand a bit more why I wanted to put together an incredibly short teaser to watch for myself. It’s a fun way to give you a bit more content than I usually would. It’s still all pencils at this stage of the game, but it’s still fun to see some of the bigger picture, even if I’m really only showing you that big picture through a pinhole.
In the grand scheme of things, I will be working with Paul Nash again (check out the amazing trailer he made for What I Remember About Dinosaurs) on a real trailer for Resonance Men. He’s been on board since the story was about Abraham Lincoln and the Monopoly guy. He’s awesome and I think we are going to produce something great for you to watch… someday in the future.
