Listen…I hate to be that guy, but if you’re the kind of person who starts a sentence with “I hate to be that guy, but…” you ARE that guy.
It happens to the best of us. Sometimes it just needs to happen. Sometimes it needs to be said…but most of the time…it doesn’t.
Here’s the thing, you don’t have to be that guy. You could be helpful. If someone is making something stupid, provide constructive criticism instead of just insulting it. I know, I know. It’s crazy talk because we’re on the internet and the internet isn’t where you go to be helpful…but what if we did? Wouldn’t that be swell?

Thinking it’s making someone that guy automatically makes you that guy. Ppl can be overly insecure and wants to prevent any opportunity to appear like a potential jerk and there wannabe tolerant ppl like you who ultimately see the world in black and White and is more judgmental than those « guys »
