Bagel Of The Gods

2009-05-17-Bagel-of-the-GodsGreetings bagel-loving Fold!

The everything bagel is the single best bagel… ever.  If you have any complaints, you obviously don’t eat it and therefore your opinion is thrown out among the masses.  Pearls before swine…

Anyway, this is based somewhat on a true story.  It’s true that at JB’s job, they’ve created a spreadsheet for bagel runs.  It’s funny.  The girl at the counter said, “Are you some sort of computer nerd?”  Hilarious.

And JB does like sesame bagels.  Please pray for him.

gods?!? I thought this was a Christian webcomic! *gnashes teeth*
I’ve never seen a sesame bagel.
what’s in an everything bagel? blueberries and cinnamon and sesame seeds and raisins and cheese?

I like hotsauce on my bagels.

Who is this that knows not the divine inspiration behind the everything bagel, much less desecrates a bagel with hot sauce, unless of course something else is on it as well. Just hot sauce would be kind of yech, it would think, & I love spicy stuff.
Hey.. Whatever floats your boat. If you like hot sauce by itself on your bagel, more power to you! An everything bagel is typically garlic, onion, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and any other herb/savory/spicey variety that the deli/bakery offers all rolled into one. Typically dough modifications (such as jalepeno, blueberry, rasin, etc) are left out, but just about anything that can be added to the exterior is there. Possibly not the cinnamon, though.

To those of you against the everything bagel, you will not be needed in the coming war. I am sorry. This was all a clever test to find those with exceptional awesomeness, and it looks like it’s just me and PCGuyIV.
Sorry Master Nyte and Pirk. Looks like you’re on the losing side.

the everything bagel is ok. i don’t really like poppy or sesame seeds though. i stick to wheat or multigrain.

Panera’s OK. Haven’t seen an Einstein in ages. Haven’t actually lived where they are, and haven’t visited in a while. I remember NY Bagel Shops as being good, but I don’t know if they are even around any more. NY Shop was probably my first experience with the everything bagel. I must admit, if I can’t get hold of an everything, the asiago does make a good backup plan. MMMM…. chhheeeeeessseeeeee……

Slight correction to what I posted. I have heard about Einstein, but it’s been a while since I’ve even heard mention of them since I don’t live in an area where they are located.
