Based on a true story.

After posting my last version, there was some discussion about my homage to an old, other webcomic/meme. So, I decided to really think about the comic and come back with a full Underfold treatment.

I think this is actually better anyway, so it works out.

The efforts by politicians and Christofascists to ban books is a clear and present danger to our children, democracy, and future.

Ron Desantis (and others too) actively does not want people or children to learn the history of Black Americans. You really have to start asking why. And he will tell you exactly why: he has a political agenda to erase history, inclusion, and diversity because they want to keep people uneducated. Ignorant masses are easier to control.

You could learn that…in a book.
