Working in retail requires a special set of skills. You need to be helpful, friendly and completely devoid of real emotions lest you be crushed by the avalanche of customer complaints, poor management and a detrimental lack of upward mobility.
But, in all honesty…it’s better than having to go through job interviews.
I decided to make a digital, flat color comic for my birthday. You’re welcome.
Anyway, my wife is awesome. I like letting her sleep in on the weekends while I’m home to watch the kids. She deserves every minute of it…but these delivery people…they don’t get it.
Woo! Happy birthday to me! What would be awesome is to get 100 subscribers on YouTube! SUBSCRIBE NOW!
If you were a Patron on Patreon, you’ve actually seen this comic evolve over time (and you still can if you BECOME A PATRON FOR $1), but for the rest of you, you’ll just have to know that this will not be the last we see of the cleverest detective in the animal kingdom.
Also of note, but completely separate, I have a YouTube channel and it would be amazing if you’d subscribe to it! I’m playing indie games, making silly sketches and have more ideas to come. Subscribe today! #IndieGame Bundle Giveaway!
I saw an ad for Kennedy Space Center the other day that was advertising the shuttle and shuttle launches and such. There was something about the picture that just made me think about it with a face… screaming as it hurtled into the unknown.
What other things are funnier when you add a bit of personification to it? Everything, but what’s your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

Playing scary games lately has made me acutely aware of the fact that my ice machine is TERRIFYING. It apparently knows exactly when the creepiest possible moment would be to drop some ice into the drawer. It’s just enough to make me question my life choices and perhaps never sleep again.
Speaking of which, if you like watching people get scared playing video games, I just recently played an indie horror game called Notes of Obsession. You can see the video here. Or watch below.

Oh, and one more thing. I’m hosting a giveaway until the end of the month for my birthday!
