I really liked the original comic, so I wanted to create a new version to match the style I draw in now, as well as shorten up the dialogue a bit.

Firefly still holds up as a treasure. 😎

In 2016, before The Last Jedi and fresh off of The Force Awakens, I was just getting back into comics. I had been avoiding color comics for a while, but one day, I had an idea and just went for it. That’s when I made this…I still think it’s funny to this day, but I’ve refined some of my drawing skillz and processes. So when they announced the new comic mini-series, The Rise of Kylo Ren, I knew I needed to remaster this old comic. I rebuilt it from the ground up.

I love Star Wars and the closer we get to December…there’s a big chance that I’ll be making more Star Wars references. 😀
