Greetings awaiting Fold!
Just wanted to keep everyone posted on the haps over here in The Underfold and real-ville.
First up, I ordered a new tablet last week and it should arrive sometime this week! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED AND SHARED! You guys are amazing, and I hope to bring you guys some extra funny things in the near future. There have been a bunch of good ideas germinating in my noggin that I hope to get out sometime soon!
Secondly, my baby is participating in Occupy Womb Street. It’s the 5th day of her silent protest of the labor union, and potentially something about health care costs. I’m not completely sure of her reasoning (it’s a silent protest after all), but we have some measures in place to quell her resistance coming up on Wednesday.
Thirdly, if none of that last paragraph made any sense to you or you don’t see the humor in it, a) you’re not reading the news, and b) our baby was due last Wednesday, but she’s still not here yet. We should be able to hold her by Thursday at the latest.
Fourthly, There shouldn’t be a delay in the comics. I’ve tried really hard (and have gotten help from some great cartoonists) to get a decent buffer going, and if all else fails, maybe some more people would be willing to send me some guest comics (hint, hint).
Overall, thank you for reading The Underfold; for helping; for caring; and for sharing. You guys remind me why I love making comics. Very encouraging.
